The QNAP TS-233 is a powerful and compact 2-bay NAS designed for home users and small offices.
It features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 2.0 GHz CPU and 2 GB of non-expandable RAM.
The system is protected by 4 GB dual-boot flash memory, ensuring enhanced reliability.
This bundle includes two WD Red 10 TB CMR drives, purpose-built for 24/7 NAS workloads.
Optimized for continuous operation (180 TB/year) and rated at 1 million hours MTBF, these drives deliver excellent longevity and full QNAP compatibility.
The TS-233 provides two SATA 6 Gb/s bays (3.5″/2.5″ HDD/SSD), one Gigabit Ethernet port, and three USB ports (2 × USB 2.0 + 1 × USB 3.2 Gen 1).
With its integrated NPU, it accelerates AI tasks (face and object recognition via QuMagie), offloading the main CPU.
The TS-233 supports RAID 0 / RAID 1 / JBOD and delivers typical speeds of around 114 MB/s read and 103 MB/s write.
AES-256 hardware encryption secures data without impacting performance.
