The Firewall E-WALL AP3XWG case is equipped with pfSense® CE software version 2.4.x. This box is very compact, is equipped with a WIFI card b/g/n and HUAWEI LTE 4G card to ensure Internet access.
The box allows the establishment up to 2 LTE cards with 2 SIM slots. The bios is optimized to allow switching on LTE 4G networks.
Outstanding connectivity thanks to its WIFI and 4G extensions. This makes it possible to protect 4 distinct physical zones and to guarantee Internet access in 4G.
The AP3xWG Firewall allows the high availability of the Internet link. When the primary link monitoring detects a break in the Internet connection, the Firewall automatically switches to the LTE 4G card and reestablishes the Internet connection. When the primary link is restored, the return is automatic and the 4G link disconnects from the LTE network. The LTE 4G card is compatible with Europe and Asia. It is possible on request to install a LTE 4G card compatible with Africa, Oceania or America.
This makes it possible to guarantee the strategic exchanges of the company such as electronic communication by email, receipt of customer orders, EDI transfers, replies to tenders, etc.
Very useful in areas where Internet access is perfectible, this ensures access in strategic moments!
Powerful, it comes in 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and an internal storage of 16 to 60 GB SSD. The 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports allow you to create 3 physical zones, as well as the possibility to create an additional zone with the WIFI extension.
The maintenance of the case can be extended up to 3 years in exchange Express J + 1 or 3 years in exchange Standard to secure your investment.
The box is AES-NI compatible to guarantee the evolutions under pfSense®, because the future versions will impose AES-NI as prerequisites during the update of version.
The pfSense® CE software is a free and open source FreeBSD distribution, specifically designed to be used as a firewall and router, fully managed via a web interface. In addition to being a flexible and powerful routing and firewall platform, it includes a long list of related features and a package system that allows for additional scalability without adding clutter and potential security vulnerabilities to the basic distribution.
